SMS Terms
Effective November 2, 2026.
These terms cover texts that home-service businesses send through ImpactFSM, a product of Constructive Impact LLC, a Colorado limited liability company. Businesses text either from the shared ImpactFSM notification number or from their own number.
What we send
Program name: ImpactFSM Service Notifications.
When a business has your permission, it can text you about work it is doing for you. These are service messages only:
- visit confirmations and reminders;
- “on the way” updates;
- links to a quote or an invoice;
- follow-ups on a quote and reminders about a past-due invoice.
We don’t send marketing or promotional texts. Our template texts begin with the business’s name. Sample messages:
Acme Lawn: Reminder: your visit is tomorrow at 10:00 AM. https://app.impactfsm.com/…
Acme Lawn: Sam is on the way and should arrive in about 15 minutes. Questions? Call 555-0100.
Acme Lawn: Invoice #1042 is ready to view. https://app.impactfsm.com/…
How you agree to texts
The business that texts you collects your agreement, not ImpactFSM. It may text you only if you gave it your mobile number and agreed to receive texts from it about your service, and it must keep a record. Agreeing is not a condition of buying anything. Businesses can use this wording, on a form, on a booking page or read aloud with a record kept:
By providing my mobile number, I agree to receive text messages from [Business Name] about my service, such as appointment confirmations and reminders, technician arrival updates, and links to quotes and invoices. These messages may be sent through ImpactFSM. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. On the shared number, use https://impactfsm.com/privacy and https://impactfsm.com/sms-terms. On its own number, a business uses its own policy pages, which ImpactFSM creates for it. Online checkboxes for texts must be optional, not pre-checked, and separate from any other terms.
Frequency and cost
Message frequency varies with your appointments, quotes and invoices. Message and data rates may apply. ImpactFSM doesn’t charge you to receive texts.
Opting out
Reply STOP at any time. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT and REVOKE also work. Send the word on its own. You’ll get one confirmation text, then no more from that number.
On the shared number, STOP stops texts from every business using it, not only the one you replied to. On a business’s own number, STOP applies to that business.
To turn texts back on, reply START or UNSTOP to the same number.
Help
Reply HELP or INFO, or contact us at [email protected] or 970-910-0006. For questions about a visit, quote or invoice, contact the business named in the text.
Replies and calls
Shared number: it can’t read replies other than the keywords above. If you send anything else, an automatic text asks you to contact the business directly, and we don’t keep what you wrote. Calls get a short spoken message and aren’t answered.
A business’s own number: the business can read and answer your replies, which are kept in its records. Replying C, Y or YES can confirm your next visit. Calls are forwarded when the business has set a forwarding phone. Otherwise, callers hear a short message.
Quiet hours
Automated reminders and confirmations aren’t sent between 9:00 pm and 8:00 am in the business’s local time. They wait until 8:00 am. Texts a person sends, and on-the-way updates, can go at any time.
Delivery
Delivery isn’t guaranteed. Messages can be delayed or missed because of your carrier, device or network. Carriers aren’t liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle phone numbers and messages. We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page.
